For Photographers  ·  Career Advisory

Your work,
placed precisely.

A year-long engagement for photographers with an established body of work entering or repositioning in the international fine art market. We bring the access. You bring the work. It starts with an Assessment — so that neither of us wastes time.

You have the work. You have a career. What is often missing — even for photographers with a strong body of work and commercial experience — is direct access to the specific channels that define the international fine art market: the right platforms, the right collectors, the right auction specialists, and the editorial positioning that makes a portfolio legible to institutional buyers and serious private collectors.

This programme is not about learning. It is about placement. We apply our network, our editorial authority, and twenty years of market knowledge to your work — in a structured, individual engagement that runs for one full year. It begins with an Assessment: a focused one-hour session in which we examine your portfolio, your existing market position, and whether and how the Career Advisory programme makes concrete sense for your specific situation.

The Assessment is open without prior application. If you decide to proceed to Career Advisory, the €150 is deducted from the programme fee. We respond to every Assessment booking within five working days.

We do not teach. We open doors that take years to find and longer to walk through alone.

The Programmes

Start with an Assessment. Proceed to Career Advisory if it makes sense for both of us.

A focused one-hour session in which we examine your portfolio, website and current market position — and give you an honest, structured reading of where your career stands and what the Career Advisory programme can concretely do for it. No prior sessions required. No long application process. You send us your portfolio, pay €150, and we meet.

By the end of the session, both of us know whether and how to proceed. If you confirm Career Advisory, the €150 is deducted from the programme fee.

Two dedicated working sessions per month for twelve months. Each session is structured around where the programme currently stands — market strategy, specific project development, platform communications, or collector introduction. The pace and content adapt to your work and to what the market is doing. The first session is a strategy session: we establish your position, identify the gaps and the opportunities, and define the twelve-month roadmap.

  • Market positioning and repositioning strategy
  • Edition strategy for existing bodies of work
  • Limited edition production coordination
  • International platform placement — including Artsper
  • International auction house introduction
  • Collector network across Europe, North America and Asia
  • Biography and press kit revision and development
  • Book project development (concept to print-ready)
  • Virtual exhibitions (Kunstmatrix) and real exhibition strategy
  • Certificates of authenticity
Requires a prior Assessment. First deposit €1,000 via paypal.me/edifore to confirm enrolment (€150 Assessment fee deducted), then monthly advance payment; or full amount via PayPal (processing fee applies). Commission structure agreed at the outset and fixed for the duration.

Commercial terms, fixed from the start.

The programme fee covers twelve months of advisory engagement. Commission structure and ongoing representation terms are agreed at the outset and remain fixed for the duration. There are no variable fees, no renegotiations mid-year, and no additional consulting charges unless you request work that falls outside the programme scope — a new book project initiated after the first six months, for example, or a second virtual exhibition. In those cases we agree a separate fee before proceeding.

Every session is conducted exclusively one-on-one. There are no group sessions and no standardised content. This is an individual engagement from the first day to the last.

On exclusivity — what we ask and what we don't.

We do not require total exclusivity. You remain free to work and sell through any channel we have not opened ourselves. The only exclusivity we ask for is per channel: if we are the first to introduce your work to a specific platform, collector or auction house, you may not sell through that same channel directly or indirectly without our involvement. This protects the investment of time, contacts and resources we put into building your market presence.

Should our collaboration end, this per-channel exclusivity remains in place for three years. If during that period you wish to sell through those channels independently or through third parties, our standard commission still applies.

How we work

From Assessment to active market presence — a clear, structured sequence.

  1. 01

    Assessment

Pay €150 via paypal.me/edifore and send us your portfolio with a brief note about where your career currently stands. We confirm within five working days. The session is conducted via video call, in English or Italian — one hour, no time wasted.

  2. 02

    Strategy session

The first Career Advisory session establishes everything: market position, gaps, opportunities, edition strategy for existing work, and the twelve-month roadmap. By the end of this session the programme has a clear shape and you know precisely what the year will deliver.

  3. 03

    Edition and materials preparation

We work on the elements that define market-ready positioning: edition structure, pricing, certificates of authenticity, biography revision, press kit. For photographers repositioning from commercial into fine art, this phase also involves defining the right framing — how your work is described, categorised and presented to institutional buyers and collectors.

  4. 04

    Platform placement and collector introduction

We place your work on the platforms appropriate to your market position — including our own Artsper gallery — and begin direct introductions to collectors and, where relevant, to auction specialists. We manage listings, communications and all market-facing activity.

  5. 05

    Ongoing market development

Through the remaining months we continue developing your market position — adjusting strategy as the market responds, building the secondary market record that anchors long-term value, and identifying new opportunities. Virtual exhibitions, book projects and new platform introductions are incorporated as needed throughout the year, unless you need our help for a specific project: a new book, a new portfolio, a new website...

Send us your work.
We respond to everything.

A portfolio link and a few lines about where you want your career to go.
That is enough to start.
