Through the international network built with IMAGE IN PROGRESS, we place photographers in galleries, auctions and private collections — worldwide. The same infrastructure we use for our represented artists is what we put to work for you.
In 2010 we founded the magazine. In 2016, the network it built became the engine for something larger: representing and advising the photographers we had always written about.
For over a decade, IMAGE IN PROGRESS introduced us to the most interesting photographers working in fine art, fashion and documentary. We interviewed them in depth, followed their careers, understood how markets moved and how reputations were built. When we began advising and representing photographers, we were not starting from scratch. We were turning years of relationships and editorial rigour into a service.
Today we work with a small, carefully selected group of emerging photographers — providing the full infrastructure their careers need to reach the international market. Advisory, mentorship, platform placement, collector introduction, editions, auctions, exhibitions. Everything a career needs, at the moment it needs it.
Every photographer is different. Every career needs a different path. Our programmes are structured — but what we build together is specific to your work and where it needs to go.
Discover the programme →Most advisory services charge the photographer regardless of outcomes. We don’t. After the Studio session, we ask for no further consulting fees until the sales generated by our work together have covered your initial investment in full.
Our income comes from the market — not from you. This is not a promotional offer. It is the structural basis of how we work with every photographer we take on through the Studio path.
Three programmes. One principle: after the first session, we invest in your career alongside you.
