Riccardo Bandiera – Sirene, o dell'esistere altrove — Feat. House, Torino, 19 maggio 2026

Riccardo Bandiera
Sirene, o dell’esistere altrove

Opening: Tuesday 19 May 2026, 6:30 – 9:00 pm

Feat. House – Via Giuseppe Giacosa 15, Turin
An exhibition not curated by Laura Milani

IMAGE IN PROGRESS is Media Partner of Sirene, o dell’esistere altrove (Sirens, or Existing Elsewhere), a new exhibition by Riccardo Bandiera — an exhibition not curated by Laura Milani — opening at Feat. House in Turin on 19 May 2026.

Riccardo Bandiera is a contemporary photographer whose research focuses on the body as a symbolic and perceptive territory. Through the use of water, light, and suspension, he investigates liminal states of identity and presence, creating images in which time seems to slow down and form escapes rigid definitions. His work moves between artistic photography and visual research, with particular attention to the dreamlike and sensorial dimension.

In Bandiera’s photographs of women underwater, the body doesn’t fall: it suspends. Hair opens like slow constellations, skin retains and releases light in fragments, as if every pore were a threshold. Here the siren doesn’t seduce — she resists, existing in a space not made for her, and for this very reason transforms it. To be a siren today is to inhabit a paradox: to live between surface and depth, between voice and silence, choosing immersion not to escape but to listen to what above remains hidden.

Alessandro Vicario – Impressions 1999–2025, Falegnameria di Palazzo Mosca, Pesaro, 17 May – 28 June 2026

Alessandro Vicario
Impressions 1999–2025

17 May – 28 June 2026  ·  Opening: Saturday 16 May, 6 pm

Falegnameria di Palazzo Mosca – Musei Civici di Pesaro
Via Rossini 37, Pesaro  ·  Curated by Alberto Mazzacchera

IMAGE IN PROGRESS is Media Partner of Impressions 1999–2025, a solo exhibition by Alessandro Vicario curated by Alberto Mazzacchera, presented at the Falegnameria of Palazzo Mosca – Musei Civici di Pesaro, in collaboration with MUNAF – Museo Nazionale di Fotografia, Milan–Cinisello Balsamo.

Bringing together works from different photographic series produced between 1999 and 2025, the exhibition offers a concentrated view of Vicario’s research into memory, trace, and the spaces of dwelling. Walls, domestic surfaces, shutters, everyday objects, and natural details become the focus of a sustained observation attentive to the marks left by time — transforming fragments of reality into images of intense visual concentration and perceptual depth.

The title Impressions points to the dual nature of the image: as imprint — a physical trace impressed upon things — and as impression — a perceptual experience shaped by looking. Alongside the exhibition, Impressions of Faces, in collaboration with the Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro, presents a public portrait performance. A bilingual Italian/English catalogue is published by ELR Edizioni Le Ricerche.

In collaboration with MUNAF – Museo Nazionale di Fotografia · Pesaro Musei · Fondazione CRC · Galleria Lab1930
