Three programmes for photographers building their international career. One condition that does not change: after the Studio session, we ask for nothing more until your sales have covered your investment in full.
Most advisory services in photography charge the artist regardless of outcomes. Portfolio reviews, editorial consultancies, mentorship programmes — the professional earns whether or not a single print is ever sold. This is, in practice, the same problem as gallery space rental: the artist pays, and the other party takes no risk.
Our model is different. We are not a school. We are not a consultant in the usual sense. We are a co-investor in your career. After the Studio advisory package, we ask for no further consulting fees until the sales generated by our work together have covered your entire initial investment. Our income comes from the market — not from you.
Photographers we identify and approach directly — through magazine submissions, competition partnerships or our own network — follow a private path and may enter our programme without going through Discovery. If you are reading this page, Discovery is where you begin.
In practice, the Studio advisory pays for itself. You advance only the initial cost — because from that point it is our work, and our sales of your editions, that cover the investment. Follow our guidelines. The market does the rest.
Discovery is open to all and is the required first step before accessing Studio or Mentorship. Photographers we approach directly follow a separate, private path and may bypass Discovery entirely — if you are reading this page, Discovery is where you begin.
An honest, structured conversation about where your work stands and what it needs. Discovery is for photographers who want a clear external reading of their portfolio before committing to a direction — and it is the required gateway to Studio and Mentorship. By the end of the session we both know whether and how to proceed.
The full onboarding into the IMAGE IN PROGRESS representation model. In 4.5 working hours we move from portfolio analysis to edition strategy, market positioning, platform selection, and a concrete action plan. This is the session that triggers our guarantee: from this point forward, we ask for no further consulting fees until sales have covered this package in full. Requires a prior Discovery session.
A full year of intensive, structured engagement — designed for photographers who are building their first serious market presence and need end-to-end support across every dimension of a professional career. Two dedicated studio sessions per month, covering photoediting and limited edition strategy, biography, press kit, book creation, certificates of authenticity, and virtual and physical exhibitions. Requires a prior Discovery session.
After the Studio package — which initiates the full representation relationship — we ask for no further consulting fees for as long as our ongoing work together has not yet generated sales covering your initial investment. This is not a promotional offer. It is the structural basis of how we work with every photographer we represent through the Studio path.
The Discovery session is a standalone consultation without representation commitment. The Mentorship programme is an independent annual engagement — after it, we continue working together on commercial terms to be agreed. Neither Discovery nor Mentorship activates this guarantee automatically; that is exclusive to the Studio package. What all three share is this: every session is conducted exclusively one-on-one, with full individual attention.
We do not require total exclusivity. You remain free to work and sell through any channel we have not opened ourselves. The only exclusivity we ask for is per channel: if we are the first to introduce your work to a specific platform, collector or auction house, you may not sell through that same channel directly or indirectly without our involvement. This protects the investment of time, contacts and resources we put into building your market presence.
Should our collaboration end, this per-channel exclusivity remains in place for three years. If during that period you wish to sell through those channels independently or through third parties, our standard commission still applies.
A clear sequence from first contact to active market presence.
Portfolio submission
You write to us with a brief introduction and a link to your work. We look at everything before we respond — always. If we see something worth taking forward, we propose the appropriate session. We do not accept every application; we accept the ones we believe in.
Advisory session
We work through your portfolio, body of work, edition possibilities and market position. The session is conducted in English or Italian via video call. By the end we have a concrete picture of what exists, what needs to be built, and how to proceed.
Edition preparation
We coordinate the production of your editions — print specifications, certificate of authenticity, packaging, pricing and edition numbering. For collector's editions we design and produce the presentation materials ourselves.
Platform introduction and market placement
We place your work on leading international art platforms — including our own Artsper gallery — and introduce you to our network of auction specialists and collectors across Europe, North America and Asia. We manage listings, communications and fulfilment.
Ongoing representation
As works sell and your market presence grows, we continue to develop your position — adjusting edition strategy, identifying new opportunities, and building the secondary market record that makes future sales easier and more valuable. Our fee on ongoing representation comes from sales, never from consulting, unless you need our help for a specific project: a new book, a new portfolio, a new website...
Send us a brief introduction and a link to your work.
A few words are enough to start.
